About a week or so the smoke from all the fires in Northern California turned our sun blood red. It felt that we were all being slowly smoked in a smoker. In the past few days, the smoke has cleared and folks in the Monterey area are dealing with the smoke. I have been following 20 priests, students and residents staying there to save Tassajara Zen Mountain Center, an old Buddhist monastery.
My heart is there in the forest and at the center.
